St Nikolaus Part 1

Long ago in the year 270 A.D. in Southern Asia Minor, a child was born in the port city of Patras. He was named Nikolas which means, "defeat evil and do good". His parents, Anna and Euphemius, where rich, charitable and pious merchants. And so they taught their son to do good and to help the poor in the city. When Nikolas was a young man he became a priest. Shorty after his partents died they left a large property to him. Nikolas shared his inheritance.
