Sapphire

Sapphire's are one of the most valuable gemstones. It came from the Greek world Sappheiros, "blue stone". Sapphires are most commonly worn it jewelry. Sapphire can be four different colors such as: green, yellow, pink, or blue. Sapphire's and Rubies are known to be the most valued and rarest gems. The Sapphire's value depends on it's color size, and overall quality. They are often found with Rubies, and can be found in: Eastern Australia, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Thailand, and East Africa. Yellow and green Sapphires are found most commonly.  A start Sapphire is a gem with a star in it or a cross.
