Henry Ford

Henry Ford was born on July 30th 1863, in Greenfield Township around Detroit, Michigan.  His Father was William Ford, was born in County Cork, Ireland.  His Mother Mary Litogot Ford was born in Michigan.  When Henry was 15, his father gave him a Pocket Watch to fix, which then everyone started giving him there watches and clocks so he can repair them.  His mother died in 1876, the same year Henry left home to study.  His Father wanted him to take over their Farm sometime,  but Henry replied in his letter "I never had any particular love for the farm, it was mother on the farm I loved." Although Henry did not want to work on the Farm, he later did.  Not to long after he came back home he was hired to work at 'Westinghouse Company' to run the Steam Engines, around this time he studied Bookkeeping at Goldsmith, Bryant Stratton Business College.  He was married to Clara Ala Bryant, to make money he worked a Sawmill and Farmed, he only had one child Edsel Ford, who died at the Age 50 in 1943.  Henry attended a Edison Executives meeting where he was first introduced to Thomas Edison.  Thomas Edison knew that Henry Ford was good at Designing and Creating Auto Mobiles, so he hired him and funded his experiments.  Not long after all this happened he Resigned from Edison Company and Founded his own Company names 'Detroit Automobile Company' which he sold some time later.  He became an Industrialist and the founder of the well known car Manufacturing Company 'Ford Motors'.  Ford was one of the Richest and well known man.  He left a large sum of his wealth to his Company, and the other to his family.  Henry was widely known for his book 'The International Jew' During World War I.  He died at age 83, in 1947 of Natural Causes, hinet-worth as of January 2013 is 200 billion.
