Potatoes

It is quite easy harvesting potatoes. All you need is some decent tools like a spade, hoe, and a garden fork.
Many people like Potato harvesting though they can only harvest every fall.

These are a few things you need to be aware of: Blight, slugs, wire worms.

If you want to harvest potatoes early you should harvest them right after they start flowering.

These are the steps you need to have a good potato farm.

First take out the rocks, sticks, weeds, ... out of your field from the field you will be using to plant your Potatoes.

Second you need to make furrows. Fertilise your potato farm, after that you just need to plant your potatoes.

One of the worst things that destroys your potato garden is blight to get rid of that you need to use soap shield.

Blight is a fungus that ruins your crop
Don't worry about rinsing the potatoes off before you store them. Because it is better for the potato if you do not rinse it.
Plastic bags with small holes in it are one of the best methos of storing potatoes.

Sometimes you cut the potatoes when you dig to solve this you should use your garden fork or if you do not have one a pitchfork will also do.
Another way to do this take the root and shake the soil of.

If you do not harvest all the potatoes there will be a good chance that the remaining might turn into plants the following spring.
